Equine Physiotherapy
CHAPPS will provide an in-depth assessment of your horse to identify areas of dysfunction. This will include a detailed history taking from the owner and vet, gait and movement analysis and palpation of soft tissue and joints. Following this, treatment will be based on assessment findings. A risk assessment will be carried out prior to seeing your horse.

Dysfunctions in movement including stiffness, disuniting, hollowing or lameness

Pain secondary to lameness, illness, surgery or tack issues

Stretching Exercise therapy including core strengthening, pelvic stability and home exercise programmes

Electrotherapy including Hofmag (PEMF), H-Wave, laser and muscle stimulation.

All treatment programmes will be tailored to the individual horse and may include a variety of the above treatments.​​We regularly speak to your team of vets, farrier, dentist and saddler to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and optimise outcomes.
