Lottie

Lottie

Lottie qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from King's College London University in 2012 and an ACPAT Cat A Veterinary Physiotherapist from Hartpury College in 2016. Lottie has been working as a Physiotherapist for CHAPPS Ltd treating equines, small animals and humans since starting the company alongside her business partner Jess in 2016. Lottie is a qualified Pilates instructor, teaching a wide cohort of people. Lottie is particularly interested in working with the horse and rider combination, with the aim to improve the strength, flexibility and biomechanics of the rider to optimise the horse's performance; and vice versa. Lottie is an experienced horse woman and has previously competed at national level in British Showjumping. Lottie enjoys spending time with her family and animals, especially watching her children ride their ponies and exploring the woods with her Plummer Terriers.

Jess

Jess

Jess qualified from The University of Nottingham as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2013, and following this worked full time in Paediatric Physiotherapy for the NHS and private sector. Jess went on to qualify as a Veterinary Physiotherapist from Hartpury College becoming an ACPAT Cat A Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2016. Since then, Jess has been working as a Physiotherapist for CHAPPS Ltd treating equine, small animal and paediatric patients since starting the company alongside her business partner Lottie in 2016. Jess is an experienced horse person who has been with horses all her life. She has previously been heavily involved with the running of her family showjumping and livery yard and has competed in British Showjumping to a national level. More recently Jess enjoys hacking her mare as well as spending time with her family and two Labradors.

Nat

Nathalie

Nat joined the team in 2021 as the CHAPPS Physio office manager. Nat deals with all client enquiries, liaison with other multi-disciplinary team members including the vets as well as management of the diary. Nat initially trained as an equine lecturer in Suffolk before starting a career in the veterinary industry. Nat is an experienced horse person having owned and competed her own in the past. She has two dogs who she enjoys walking and spending time with alongside her husband.

Sofia

Sofia graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2021 to become a Chartered Human Physiotherapist, which saw her working in a variety of NHS and private sectors including musculoskeletal and post-operative rehabilitation to then specialise in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. Sofia then graduated in her Veterinary Physiotherapy Master’s degree from Hartpury University in 2024, becoming an ACPAT Cat A Veterinary Physiotherapist. Horses have been a lifelong passion of Sofia. She competed internationally in eventing until the start of her university studies and then continued to ride at an amateur level including riding out for racing yards. Sofia has a good understanding of various equestrian disciplines, from eventing to racing and other Olympic sports, which fuels her desire to contribute to the health, comfort, and success of horses across all fields. Sofia is equally passionate about dogs and cats. She has been practising in a small animals’ referral practise since January 2025, where she has thoroughly enjoyed seeing a variety of neurological and orthopaedic cases whilst being able to transfer her human rehabilitation knowledge into to her small animal physiotherapy practise. Sofia comes from Italy, and some of her other passions include fitness and Latin dancing!

Eden

Eden has been with CHAPPS physio for well over a year now having graduated in 2023 with a first class BSc Hons Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Agricultural University. Prior to that, she was the Herd and Facilities Manager for the equine-assisted trauma specialists, IFEEL, during which time she completed a Level 5 Diploma in Equine Facilitated Human Development. She has worked professionally in the equine industry for 7 years and currently works privately as a veterinary physiotherapist for small animals and horses across Sussex, whilst also taking a key role in Rehabilitation at Hascombe Equestrian. Eden enjoys helping people build their confidence, awareness and relationship with their animals across her work. In her spare time, Eden spends time with her two horses and dog, riding on the south downs, and takes dance and pilates classes when she can.

Jazz

Jazz qualified from Harper Adams University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy, is a member of IRVAP and has completed further qualifications in canine hydrotherapy. Jazz has run her own business treating equine and canine clients since 2020 and has a particular interest in the role of remedial exercise in rehabilitation. Alongside this, Jazz has worked out of specialist canine rehabilitation centres with a variety of cases including neurological, post-operative and conditioning for sporting dogs. Previously, Jazz has groomed for international event and dressage riders and has ridden horses most of her life with a passion for Iberian breeds. In her spare time she enjoys running, tag rugby and walking with her rescue lurcher Sid. She has also started volunteering at the Greyhound Trust and is under strict orders not to bring them all home!
